To celebrate the release of WondLa, the new animated series from Apple TV, we had the pleasure of chatting with star Teri Hatcher about the wonderful new show.

Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”) voices Eva, a typical teen: curious, enthusiastic, and spirited. The only difference… she’s being raised alone by a robot caretaker, M.U.T.H.R., voiced by Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”), in a state-of-the-art underground bunker. On her 16th birthday, an attack on her sanctuary forces her onto the Earth’s surface, and it’s not what she expected. The planet is inhabited by aliens, covered with other-worldly fauna, and there are no other humans to be found. In fact, it’s no longer called Earth… it’s called Orbona.

Chatting with Hatcher, we talk about the art of voice acting, whether it becomes easier the more you do it (Hatcher has voiced series, games, and more), why the story of WondLa spoke to her and made her want to get involved, the imagination of animation and much more.
