Searchlight Pictures has revealed a teaser trailer for ‘A Real Pain’ starring Academy Award® nominee Jesse Eisenberg and Golden Globe® winner Kieran Culkin.
The film follows mismatched cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) reuniting for a tour through Poland to honour their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.
Written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg, the film stars Eisenberg alongside Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Kieran Culkin, with a cast rounded out by BAFTA winner and Emmy® nominee Will Sharpe, Golden Globe® nominee Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, and Daniel Oreskes.
Producers are Dave McCary (“Saturday Night Live,” I Saw the TV Glow), Ali Herting (Bodies Bodies Bodies, “The Curse”), Emma Stone (Poor Things, Cruella), Eisenberg, Jennifer Semler (Theater Camp), and Ewa Puszczyńska (The Zone of Interest, Cold War).
